It carries 50% weightage toward your final intermediate percentage, so it matters as much as 12th class for college and university admissions. How to Check 11th Class Result Online
Select your board from the Punjab, KPK, Sindh, or Other Boards tab above, enter your roll number, and tap Check Result. You’ll be redirected straight to the official board result server, so you get the same result shown on the board’s own portal. Don’t have your roll number? Most boards also let you search by name and father’s name once the result is announced.
Position Holders
Each board announces its top position holders one day before the general result — so once toppers are named, it effectively confirms the final result date for everyone else. Only the top 3 positions are awarded per board, and these students are honored with prizes, medals, and certificates in an official ceremony.
11th Class (1st Year) Subjects — Group Wise
In 11th class, students pick a group based on their career direction. Each group has its own mix of compulsory and elective subjects.
1st Year Commerce Group Result
Commerce group (I.Com) students can check their 1st year result the same way as Pre-Medical, Pre-Engineering, ICS, and FA students. Select your board, enter your roll number, and the result card will show your subject-wise marks along with your overall grade for the commerce group.
Passing Marks and Grading
Most Punjab boards require at least 33% marks in each subject to pass, while some boards set the threshold at 40%. Students must also clear practical exams separately, even if they pass in theory. If you fail a subject, you can appear in the supplementary exam later in the year, and you can apply for rechecking if you believe there was a marking error.
Result Gazette
A few weeks after the main announcement, each board publishes a gazette, a PDF listing every student’s result. It’s mainly used by colleges to verify admissions, but it’s also useful if you’ve lost your roll number slip and need to look yourself up by name.
Punjab Board 1st Year Result
This covers Lahore, Multan, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur, and DG Khan. Punjab boards follow a shared schedule set by the PBCC, so once one board announces its date, the rest usually follow within a day or two of each other.
KPK Board 1st Year Result
This covers Peshawar, Kohat, Abbottabad, Mardan, Swat, Bannu, DI Khan, and Malakand. KPK boards often announce a few weeks after Punjab, so if yours hasn’t uploaded results yet, check back closer to late October or early November.
Sindh Board 1st Year Result
This covers Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana, and Mirpurkhas. The Karachi board (BIEK) is the largest in Sindh and typically announces separately from the smaller interior boards. Commerce group students in Sindh can check theirs the same way as Science and Arts students, by selecting their board and entering a roll number above.
